50 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE PPE WORLD
Established in 1960, Sintimex is a pioneer in Portugal in the Production and Commercialization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) and Safety at Work. Today we remain one of the leader’s in the Portuguese PPE market and building an important share also in International markets such as Angola, Mozambique, S. Tomé e Príncipe and Cabo Verde. With a 18% growth in 2008, a strong focus on innovation and a stable financial position, Sintimex has continued to develop, being awarded in 2009 the status of PME Leader e PME Excellence.
In the past four years we have tripled our direct sales network, currently covering Portugal from North to South. There has been also a strong investment in a training, which is reflected today in the professionalism and competence of our technical sales team. In parallel, there is a big commitment to assure the quality of our products, through numerous partnerships and exclusivity agreements with the suppliers of reference around the world.
In 2010, Sintimex achieved a Certification for the Commercialization their products and services, according to the 2 requirements of the Standard ISO 9001:2008 and moved its headquarters. We are now in a modern space with 2000 meters in the center of Lisbon, where we have in permanent stock over one million products for delivery within 48 hours at any point of the country. Here we have at your disposal the largest showroom of PPE’s in Lisbon, where you can test more than 500 products, find a Training Center for work in heights with a platform of 6 meters in height and a modern auditorium and also a Maintenance Center , certified by standard NP 4413:2006, for the service of fire extinguishers.
Since 2011, you can also count on the team Sintimex in Angola, where we opened HSA - Handleserv Sintimex Angola, a company born from a partnership with Handleserv, a Trading with extensive experience in the field of import and export to Angola.
Today, we continue to invest in our team and new infrastructure in order to be even closer to our customers. In this sense, we have recently opened a Branch Office in the Industrial Zone of the Maia, where you can find a modern Showroom and shop for retail, and a team of professionals specialized in Security Equipment at Work that will help you select the best option for your needs.
